BONNIE YORK, 84, JAMESTOWN, KY

 
Bonnie V. York, 84, of Jamestown, KY passed away Sunday, July 25, 2021 at the Russell County Hospital. She was born in Jamestown, KY on February 23, 1937, a daughter of the late Roxie (Burchett) and Clarence  Russell.
 
In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Alvin (Slim) York; 1 son, Stevie York; a grandson, Jeremy Heathman; 2 brothers: Ernest Russell and Freddy Russell; and a sister, Juanita Bell.
 
SURVIVORS:
2 daughters: Judy Heathman (Jim) of Jamestown, KY; Alice Lawless (Roy) of Jamestown, KY
1 son: Tommy York (Ramona) of Jamestown, KY
1 daughter-in-law: Lisa York of Jamestown, KY 
3 sisters: Linda Hammond and Leffie Russell of Russell Springs, KY; Sue McWhorter of Jamestown, KY
2 brothers: Lester Russell and Danny Russell, both of Jamestown, KY
12 grandchildren
16 great-grandchildren
A host of nieces, nephews and friends
 
Funeral Service: Wednesday, July 28, 2021 at 11:00amCT at H.E. Pruitt Memory Chapel in Jamestown, KY with Bro. Andy Robertson and Bro. Matt Brown officiating
 
Visitation: Tuesday from 5:00pm-8:00pmCT and Wednesday after 8:00amCT
 
Interment: Jamestown Cemetery
 
Pallbearers: Nick York, Tyler York, Steven York, Josh Lawless, Dylan Espinoza, and Dakota Espinoza
 
H.E. Pruitt Memory Chapel is in charge of the arrangements.
