BUFORD BURTON, 83, EDINBURGH, IN (ADAIR COUNTY NATIVE)

 
Buford Burton, 83, of Edinburgh, Indiana passed away Friday, August 20, 2021 at his residence. He was born March 2, 1938 on Burton Ridge in Adair County, KY, the son of the late Wesley and Burt (Dile) Burton. 
 
Buford attended Edinburgh Separate Baptist Church. He retired from Atterbury Job Corp where he worked in the maintenance department and later worked for Eskew-Eaton Funeral Home. He enjoyed traveling out west.
 
In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death a granddaughter, Abigail Burton; 4 brothers: Van Burton, Clay Fairley Burton, Lester Burton, and Clayton Burton; and 6 sisters: Mildred Burton, Millie Burton, Fay Cowan, Beulah Sinclair, Barbara Pendleton, and  Exuria Goodin.
 
SURVIVORS:
Wife: Alene (Burton) Burton 
1 son: Brian (Becky) Burton
1 daughter: LeAnn (Norbert, IV) Rehm
7 grandchildren: Makenzie Burton, Chandler Burton, Analeigh Burton, Riley Burton, Norbert Rehm, V, and Eli Rehm
 
Funeral Service: Thursday, August 26, 2021 at 11:00amET at Edinburgh Separate Baptist Church with Reverends Danny Bailey & Guy Hardin officiating
 
Visitation: Wednesday from 4:00pm-8:00pmET and Thursday after 9:30amET at the church 
 
Burial: Rest Haven Cemetery in Edinburgh, IN
 
Eskew-Eaton Funeral Home in Edinburgh, Indiana is in charge of arrangements.
