Phillip Lendil Wilson, 78, of Russell Springs, KY passed away Thursday, August 26, 2021 at his residence. He was born on Wednesday, November 25, 1942 in Russell Springs, KY, the son of the late Herbert & Elva Meece Wilson.
Phillip attended Mt. Vernon Missionary Baptist Church and was a retired diesel mechanic. He was an avid sportsman, a Veteran of the U.S. Army, and worked for Key GMC in Cincinnati. He was a devoted father, grandfather and great-grandfather.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Jeffery Wilson.

1 Son: Darryl Wilson of Russell Springs, KY
1 Brother: James Wilson of Jamestown, KY
7 grandchildren & 4 great-grandchildren
Funeral Service: Sunday, August 29, 2021 at 3:00pmCT at Wilson Funeral Home, 391 East Steve Wariner Drive, Russell Springs, KY with Bro. Stan Milby officiating.
Visitation: After 1:00pmCT on Sunday at the funeral home.
Interment: Rexroat Cemetery in Jamestown, KY with military rites performed by the DAV Honor Guard.
The family requests expressions of sympathy to Hospice of Lake Cumberland.
