Doris Fay Bailey Burton, 81, of Columbia, KY died Friday, September 24, 2021 at her residence. She was born in Columbia, KY on August 28, 1940 to the late Granville and Estelle Young Bailey. 
 

Mrs. Burton was of the Christian faith. She enjoyed gardening, being outdoors and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Leon Burton and two siblings: Elvia Stinson and Sanford Bolin Bailey.

SURVIVORS:

1 son: Steve Burton (Sarah) of Columbia, KY

4 grandchildren: Kyle, Hallie, Kaden and Hayes Burton

1 great-granddaughter: Evelyn Burton

2 siblings :Kathreen Bailey Branham and Bradford Bailey both of Columbia

At Mrs. Burton’s request there will be a graveside service at 11:00amCT on Tuesday, September 28, 2021 at Haven Hill Cemetery and there will be no visitation.
