Ruth Ester Moss, 81, of Columbia, KY died Friday, October 1, 2021 at Metcalfe County Nursing Home. She was born in Gradyville, KY on June 12, 1940 to the late Deward and Annie Lee Coomer Taylor.
She was also preceded in death by her husband, Delbert Moss.
Mrs. Moss was a member of the Morris Chapel Community Church and a retired cook at Colonel William Casey Elementary School.

2 sons: Timothy Moss (Lisa) of Columbia, KY and Rodney Moss of Edmonton
3 grandchildren: Andrea LaShaye Shelton (Michael), Joshua Moss and Sarah Moss
2 great-grandchildren: Karson Habhab and Kaiden Shelton

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by 7 siblings: James Owen, Dalton, Lewis Gilliam, Carlo and Lawrence Taylor, Maple Franklin and Alene Bennett; 4 half-brothers: Roosevelt, Edward, Paul and Hershel Taylor; and a half-sister, Minnie Taylor.

Burial: Jones Chapel Cemetery
Visitation: Sunday from 5:00-8:00pmCT and on Monday morning until time for the service at the funeral home
