Ms. Mary Ruth Smith, 59, was born November 14, 1961 in Adair County, KY to the late Albert and Clara Victoria Holt Spaulding. She departed this life on Friday October 1, 2021 at Georgetown Community Hospital in Georgetown, KY.
She had made a profession of faith in Christ at an early age at the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. Earlier on in her life she worked in tobacco. She enjoyed being on the go and helping anyone in need. For there was no task to big for her even being told “Ruthie you can’t do that.” She enjoyed going to Golden Years in Edmonton, KY where she had a host of friends. She enjoyed being outside, doing things in the yard, planting, etc. She especially enjoyed spending time with her family, her daughters, son-in-law, and grandkids. As quick as she would come for a visit, as quick she wanted to go home. She loved being home, she loved her home Greensburg. Mary Ruth Smith enjoyed having conversations with everyone she crossed paths with and a laugh or smile to all.

5 granddaughters: Ahlyia Curry, Jreeym Scrubb, Javarie Davis, Mekenna Davis, and Brea Davis
3 grandsons: Jayvian Scrubb, Isiah Davis, and Freeman Davis Jr
Funeral Service: Saturday, October 9, 2021 at 12:00pmCT at Foster-Toler-Curry Funeral Home
Burial: Bridgewater-Groves-Caldwell Cemetery with Rev. Tyrone Johnson, Eulogy and Rev. Ryan Hardin, Master of Ceremony
Visitation: After 10:00amCT on Saturday at the funeral home
Pallbearers: Lee Bridgewater, James Bridgewater, Albert Ray, Donnie Williams, Billy Gene Mitchell
