ELVY LEE WARREN, 80, ADAIR COUNTY, KY

 
Elvy Lee Warren, 80, of the Pellyton community in Adair County passed peacefully fro this life on Tuesday, December 7, 2021 after an extended illness. Born on March 26, 1941 to the late Paul and Eula (Burton) Warren. 
 
He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was of the Christian faith. Mr. Warren was a retiree of the University of Louisville, having been employed in the maintenance department over 30 years. He was an avid fisherman, and enjoyed hunting ginseng or playing his guitar and singing. 
 
SURVIVORS:
1 daughter: Debbie Hughes and husband Rick of Campbellsville
5 siblings: Bill Warren of Knifley, Larry Warren and wife Brenda of Campbellsville, Dale Warren of Knifley, Lana Warren of Columbia, and Pauletta Tucker of Knifley
2 sisters-in-law: Kathy Warren and Vanessa Warren, both of Campbellsville
2 grandchildren: Patricia Scott and husband James of Florida, and Willaim Campbells of Campbellsville
2 great-grandchildren: James Scott and Savannah Rose Scott 
Several other family members and friends
 
FUNERAL: Thursday at 2:00pmET (1:00pmCT) at L.R. Petty Funeral Home in Campbellsville, KY
 
BURIAL: Robinson Chapel Cemetery in Adair County
 
VISITATION: After 11:00amET on Thursday until time for the service
