Gary L. McCoy, 64, of Jamestown, KY passed away on Sunday, December 19, 2021 at the Jean Waddle Care Center in Somerset. He was born September 23, 1957 in Phelps, KY, son of the late Joseph F. and Delores Gooslin McCoy.
He married his sweetheart, Debbie Justice on July 12, 1974.
Gary was first and foremost a steadfast “Child of God”. He loved the Lord and his family with his whole heart. Gary enjoyed gardening, fishing, and hunting, but most of all, he loved his time spent with his family, laughing and worshipping the Lord.
Along with his parents, Gary was preceded in death by his sister, Shelia McCoy Hamilton.

2 sisters: Nancy McCoy (Mike) Holt of Ceville, Ohio, and Karen McCoy (Kevin) Layne of Phelps
1 brother-in-law: Danny Hamilton of Kemper
7 grandchildren: Rachael McCoy, Laken (Eli) Pauley, Ryleigh Grace McCoy, Kezia McCoy, Eli McCoy, Nevaeh McCoy and Levi McCoy
