Ottis Hines, 84, of Russell Springs, KY, passed away Monday, February 28th, at Russell County Hospital surrounded by his family. He was born in Somerset, KY on March 2, 1937, a son of the late Fannie (Burton) Hurst and Lovell Hines.
He served in the U.S. Army and was retired from the Corp. of Engineers.

1 son: Billy Hines (Angie) of Bowling Green, KY
1 sister: Peggy Branscum (Theo) of Russell Springs, KY
2 granddaughters: Emma & Ann Marcum Hines of Bowling Green, KY
2 nieces: Allison (Troy) Coffey and Julie (Wayne) Wilson, both of Russell Springs, KY
In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife, Ginny Ann Marcum Hines and daughter, Genifer Mae Hines.
Visitation: Thursday 2:00-4:00pmCT at H.E. Pruitt Memory Chapel
Care and cremation were chosen.
The family requests memorial donations be made to the Jamestown Cemetery and can be made at the funeral home.
