Phyllis Carol Browning, 80, of Russell Springs, KY passed away on Saturday, March 5, 2022 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital in Somerset. She was born in Russell Springs July 12, 1941, a daughter of the late Eddie Carl and Mary Davis Wells.
She married Bill Browning on September 23, 1967. Phyllis operated her own salon and worked as a hairdresser for many years. She was a retired supervisor from Fruit of the Loom of Jamestown and a member of Liberty Baptist Church in Russell Springs. Phyllis was a beautiful lady, inside and out; sweet and thoughtful, and always with a quiet grace about her.
Along with her parents, Phyllis was preceded in death by her husband, William Samuel “Bill” Browning; her son, Victor Flanagan; her brother, Stanley Wells; and her sister, Nadine McKinley.
