Barbara Gossett, 68, of Russell Springs, KY passed away on Monday, March 7, 2022 at Good Samaritan Hospital in Lexington. Born on March 14, 1953 in LaFollette, Tennessee, Barbara was a daughter of the late Harry Polson and the late Evelyn Comer Riggs.
She was a homemaker and a member of Liberty Baptist Church. Barbara was a former beautician and a former factory worker for Fruit of the Loom. She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. Barbara also enjoyed cooking.

6 grandchildren: Jacob (Jasmine) Paul, Jordan Paul, Chelsey Goddard, Gavin Jones, Bailey Blair, and Gigi Jones
1 great-grandchild: Jessie Paul (and Joey Paul on the way)
1 brother: Jerry (Connie) Polson of Knoxville, Tennessee
4 sisters: Linda Polson-Pemberton of Caryville, Tennessee, Rosemary Polson of Caryville, Tennessee, Regina Kreis of Oliver Springs, Tennessee, and Sherry Polson of South Carolina
In addition to her parents, Barbara was preceded in death by one brother, Tommy Polson; and one sister, Cindy Riggs.
