Tracy M. Thomas, 87, of Russell Springs, KY passed away on Tuesday, March 22, 2022 at the Russell County Hospital. He was born in Casey County on March 26, 1934, a son of the late John Henry and Delphia Harris Thomas.
He married Jewell Minton on September 26, 1951 in Russell Springs. Six children were born to their union. Tracy worked for and retired from the state of Kentucky Highway Department. He farmed before and after retirement. Tracy enjoyed being with his grandkids. He was baptized into the Patterson Chapel Church of Christ congregation only two weeks after his wife, Jewell, was baptized. Tracy loved his chewing tobacco.
In addition to his parents, Tracy was preceded in death by his brother, Donald Thomas and an older sister who died in infancy.

1 brother: Killus Thomas of Russell County, KY
2 sisters: Lucille (Gerald) Burton of Casey County, KY and Olivia Luttrell of Russell Springs, KY
12 grandchildren: Stacy, Taylor, Derek, Cameron, Aquinna, Jessica, Bethany, Andrew, Nick, Heather, Timmy and Cathy
11 great-grandchildren
