Marie Stephens, 101, of Indianapolis, IN, passed away on Tuesday, March 29, 2022 at her home surrounded by her loved ones. Marie was born on March 26, 1921 in Adair County, KY, a daughter of the late Oscar and Laura Alley Smiley.
In her spare time, Marie enjoyed spending time with her family, going to garage sales, gardening and playing Bingo.

3 children: J.C. Stephens, Charlotte (Bob) Streib and Shelly Stephens
3 grandchildren: Ronnie Denham, Tammy Kitterman and Shelby Moore

1 sister: Jean Quinn of Columbia, KY
2 brothers: Bobby Smiley of Indiana and Phillip Smiley (Brenda) of Campbellsville, KY
In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, C.C. Stephens in 2001; 2 sisters: Mable Smiley Burton and Doris Smiley; 2 brothers: Demaree and Eldred Smiley; and a grandson, Scotty Stephens.
