EDWIN L. DEVORE, 69, RUSSELL SPRINGS, KY

 

Edwin L. DeVore, 69, of Russell Springs, KY passed away on Thursday, April 7, 2022 at 12:08pmCT at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital in Somerset, KY. He was born in Lafayette, IN on August 15, 1952, a son of the late Violet (Young) and Bernice Devore.

 

Edwin served in the U.S. Army as a SP4 in the Vietnam War. He was a baker at Lake Cumberland State Park in Jamestown, KY.

 

SURVIVORS:

His wife: Nedra Susie (Pendleton) Devore

2 daughters: Ginger L. Devore and Rebekah J. Devore, both of Russell Springs, KY

1 son: James E. Devore (Jamie) of Louisville, KY

1 sister: Rita Livengood of Lafayette, IN

2 brothers: Don Devore (Ute) and Mike Devore (Nancy), both of Mulbury, IN

5 grandchildren: JT Taylor, Shea Burton, Myah Gail Ellison, William Devore Jayla Brown and Wyatt Devore

1 great-grandchild (on the way): Legend Lee Louis Taylor

 

Visitation: Saturday from 4:00pm-8:00pmCT at H.E. Pruitt Memory Chapel

 

Funeral Service: Sunday, April 10, 2022 at 2:00pmCT (3:00pmET) at Salem United Methodist Church in Liberty, KY with Bro. Dwayne Mondie officiating. A Military service will be performed by the Casey County Veterans Honor Guard.

 

Interment: Salem Cemetery in Liberty, KY

 

H.E. Pruitt Memory Chapel in Jamestown, KY is in charge of arrangements.
