CARLES RAY LLOYD, 77, CAMPBELLSVILLE, KY (ADAIR CO. NATIVE)

 

Carles Ray Lloyd, 77, of Campbellsville, KY passed from this life on Wednesday, April 20, 2022 at the Grandview Nursing and Rehab Facility after an illness. He was born in Adair County on May 26, 1944 to the late Elford and Bonnie (Bunch) Lloyd. 

 

He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of Eastside Church of God. Mr. Lloyd was a noted contract painter, and enjoyed fishing and woodworking. 

 

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife, Brenda Lloyd in 2016 and a sister, Freda Sroczynski.

 

SURVIVORS:

4 children: Cynthia Mann, Teresa Ballou, and Doyle Lloyd & wife Carolee all of Columbia, KY; Jeffrey Lloyd & wife Heather of Chicago, Illinois

3 siblings: Bernice Preece & husband Gary of Georgetown, KY; Charles Lloyd of Columbia, KY; Brenda Malone of Louisville, KY

11 grandchildren & 7 great-grandchildren

A host of nieces, nephews, cousins, & other relatives

Many friends, including all of his fishing & hunting buddies

   

Funeral Service: Sunday, April 24, 2022 at 4:00 PM at L.R. Petty Funeral Home, 1765 New Columbia Rd, Campbellsville, KY

 

Burial: Poplar Grove Cemetery in Taylor County

 

Visitation: Sunday, April 24, 2022 from 2:00 PM until time for the service

 

L.R. Petty Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
