Marie (Smith) Curry, 92, of Columbia, KY died on Saturday, April 30, 2022 at TJ Health Columbia. She was born August 4, 1929 in Cumberland County, KY to the late Willie Peyton and Elsie Edens Smith. 

Mrs. Curry was a homemaker and member of Columbia Baptist Church. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Vernon C. Curry on April 6, 2019; a sister, Manette Holmes; and 2 brothers: Jack Smith and Harold Smith.

2 sons: Gary Vernon Curry (Peggy) of Columbia, KY and Robert Lynn Curry (Sherry) of Frankfort, KY

3 grandchildren: Jason Curry of Columbia, KY, Jonathan Curry (Selena) and Lauren Germond (Alec) both of Frankfort, KY

4 great-grandchildren: Meadow Lynne Curry, Roland Lynne Curry, Merritt Marie Germond and Bowen Alec Germond all of Frankfort, KY

1 sister: Nancy Bagozzi of Humble, Texas Several nieces, nephews, and friends

Funeral service: 1:00 PM Tuesday, May 3, 2022 at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home with Bro. Jimmie Dale Cox officiating

Burial: Haven Hill Cemetery. 
 

Visitation: After 10:00 AM on Tuesday at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home
