He had professed faith in Christ and was a member of the Knifley Christian Church where he served as an Elder. Nolan was a retired property manager for Spring Ridge Meadows Apartments. He enjoyed spending time on the farm and worked for Wiser Farms for numerous years. Nolan was part owner of Cole’s Lawn Care. He loved to garden, and especially tell his family how to garden – the right way. He also enjoyed hunting and being at the hunting cabin on the farm. He often visited the Pool Room where he could be found talking with friends or meeting a new one. He never met a stranger. Mr. Cole was a longtime member of the Adair County Jaycees.
