Geneva Stephens, 90, of Russell Springs, KY passed away on Friday, May 13, 2022 at Russell County Hospital. She was born September 26, 1931 in Russell County, a daughter of the late Adeline and Maude Perkins Sullivan.
She worked many years as a cook in the Russell County School System. Geneva was a member of Concord Wesleyan Church. She loved to go to church and was considered a Prayer Warrior for many. Geneva was known as being a Good Samaritan in her community. She enjoyed gardening and canning and loved to cook for her family. She loved to piece quilts. Her family thought of her as the best wife and mother anyone could ask for.

2 daughters: Diane Meece of Russell Springs, KY and Betty (Steve) Williams of Jamestown, KY
6 grandchildren: Timothy Lee Stephens, Jason Stephens, David (Katie) Meece, Teresa Meece Popplewell, Holly (Josh) Pierce and Julie Williams
2 great-grandchildren: Haylyn Pierce and Ashlyn Pierce
Along with her parents, Geneva was preceded in death by her husband, Luther Stephens, who passed away on December 25, 2012; her granddaughter, Hannah Williams; her son-in-law, Wayne Meece; and 3 sisters: Della George, Ethel Miller and Reba Abner.

Interment: Pine Grove Separate Baptist Church Cemetery in Sunshine
