Evelyn Knight (Helm) Phillips, 93, of California was born to the late Bill Knight and Fannie Bell Knight of Jamestown. She was married to Clarence Almer Helm from 1947 until his passing in 1981 and to Grover Phillips from 1984 until his passing in 2016.
She spent many years in California but returned to her home in Jamestown, KY as often as possible. Her hobbies consisted of sewing, quilting cooking and her genuine love of people. She was a longtime member of Clayton Valley Baptist Church since the 1960's. She was a great conversationalist and never met a stranger.
In addition to her parents and husbands, she was preceded by a brother, Bobby Lee Knight and a sister, Dorothy Chapman.
