RALPH GERALD COOMER, 95, CAMPBELLSVILLE, KY (ADAIR COUNTY NATIVE)

 

Ralph Gerald Coomer, 95, of Campbellsville, KY died Friday, June 10, 2022 at his residence. He was born on May 28, 1927 in Adair County, KY to the late Harlan and Anna Norris Coomer. 
 

He was preceded in death by his wife, Wynell Moss Coomer.

 

Mr. Coomer was a member of the Mt. Washington Baptist Church and a veteran of the Korean War serving in the U. S. Army. He enjoyed woodworking, horses and spending time with family and friends.

 

SURVIVORS:

1 son: Rick Coomer (Toni) of Campbellsville, KY

3 grandchildren: Steven Coomer of Washington, Nicole Parnell (Charles) of Mississippi and Jennifer Rissinger of New York

6 great-grandchildren: Scott Coomer, Ripp Coomer, Austin Parnell, Michael Parnell, Bethany Parnell and Ryan Ressinger

1 brother: Norwood Coomer (Marcella) of Mt Washington, KY

1 half-brother: Don Coomer

1 half-sister: Phyllis Coomer

Several nieces & nephews

 

Funeral service: Saturday, June 18, 2022 at 11:00amCT at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home with Bro. Donnie Blick officiating

 

Burial: Haven Hill Cemetery with full Military Honors provided by VFW Post 6097

 

Visitation: Friday from 3:00-6:00pmCT and Saturday from 9:00-11:00amCT

 

Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
