Dallas Richard “Poochie” York, 68, of Columbia, KY passed away suddenly on Tuesday, June 21, 2022 at T.J. Health Columbia. He was born October 10, 1953 in Adair County, KY to the late Preston Lee and Madeline Grider York.
Richard loved fishing, playing bingo and spending time with his grandchildren who affectionately called him “Pops”. He will be missed by all who knew him.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Roger York in 2016.

2 brothers: Marvin York (Cathy) and Randy York
25 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren
1 aunt: Elizabeth “Lizzie” York
1 uncle: Jessie “Buck” York

Honorary pallbearers: Cody York, Steve Harvey, James Gullion, Eric Dial, Craig Dial and Mr. York’s grandson, JayKob Lee, who can’t be here because he is on TDY in Alaska serving his country in the U.S. Air Force.
