Eloise Lawless Owens, 79, of Russell Springs, KY passed away on Sunday, July 3, 2022 at Fair Oak Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Jamestown. She was born September 1, 1942 in the Mt. Eden Community, a daughter of the late Frank and Ila Emerson Lawless. 

Eloise was the owner and operator of Eloise’s Wallpaper and Paint for over 40 years. She enjoyed her work, going to church activities, and spending time with family and friends. She was a member of Cedar Springs Baptist Church. 

SURVIVORS:

3 sons: Scott Owens (Becky), Tim Owens, and Keith Owens (Janet) all of Russell Springs, KY

2 daughters: Hester Polston (Derek) and Misty Blakey (Derek) both of Russell Springs, KY

1 brother: Bruce Lawless (Connie) of Russell Springs, KY

3 sisters: Georgia Edmonds and Wanda Brown both of Russell Springs, KY and Beckie Acey (Mike) of Somerset, KY

13 grandchildren: Chelsey Loy, Megan Polston, Dylan Owens, Zackery Owens, Owen George, Alexis Vanarsdale, Ziah Owens, Payton Polston, Katie Owens, Daniel Blakey, Maggie Polston, Ferrah Polston, and William Polston

5 great-grandchildren: Jalyn Meece, Braydon Loy, Emberlynn Loy, Kentley Polston and Olivia George (and a great-granddaughter “on the way”)

Along with her parents, Eloise was preceded in death by her brother, Michael Lawless; 3 sisters: Dene Bernard, Barb Edmonds, and Janit Burchett; and her granddaughter, Tori Lynn Owens.

Funeral Service: Friday, July 8, 2022 at 2:00pmCT at  Bernard Funeral Home with Bro. Joe Gosser and Bro. Joe Sullivan officiating

Burial: Salem Cemetery 

Visitation: After 9:00amCT on Friday

Pallbearers: Dylan Owens, Zackery Owens, Owen George, Daniel Blakey, Megan Polston, and Ziah Owens
