JC VanArsdale, 88, of Columbia, KY died Wednesday, July 27, 2022 at 9:17 A.M. at U.K. Chandler Hospital in Lexington. He was born February 12, 1934 in Adair County to the late Everett and Floy Burris VanArsdale.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Paul VanArsdale and four sisters: Rena Carter, Lou Keltner, Judy Miller and Donna Bivens.
JC was a member of Living By Faith Church, a U.S. Army Veteran, a 56 year member of Columbia Lodge 96, a member of V.F.W. Post 6097 and was owner of Dixie Cash & Carry for many years.

1 sister & 2 brothers-in-law: Doris and Sonny Miller and Kenneth Russell Miller of Creelsboro

10 great-grandchildren,
3 great-great grandchildren (and expecting 2 great-great grandchildren very soon)

Funeral Service: Saturday, July 30, 2022 at 1:00 P.M. at Columbia Christian Church with Bro. Bobby Withers and Pastor Johnny Hood officiating
Burial: Columbia Cemetery with full military honors presented by V.F.W. Post 6097
Visitation: After 4:00 P.M. Friday and after 8:00 A.M. Saturday at Columbia Christian Church
Masonic rites will be held Friday at 7:00 P.M. on Friday by Columbia Lodge #96
