Anita Denson Keltner, 94, of Columbia, KY died Friday, September 9, 2022 at 4:15 A.M. at Summit Manor Nursing Home. She was born June 5, 1928 to the late Luther Thomas and Elnora Beulah Ballenger Denson.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, George Robert Keltner, her son-in-law, Terry Allen Akin, four brothers, Edwin, Marvin, Wesley and Leslie Denson and four sisters, Pearl Vaughan Miller, Margie Pickett, Ethelean Keltner and Edith Dean Denson.
Anita worked as a hairdresser after receiving her diploma from Kentucky Beauty College in 1946. She was a member of Mt. Carmel United Methodist Church, enjoyed keeping her granddaughters and baking chocolate pies.

2 granddaughters: Stephanie Sears & husband Adrian of Somerset, KY and Laura Akin & fiancé Joe Anthony of Bowling Green, KY
1 great-grandson: Jacob Allen Sears
Funeral service: Tuesday, September 13, 2022 at 1:00 P.M. at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home with Bro. David Kemp and Bro. Don Neat officiating
Burial: Haven Hill Cemetery
Visitation: After 5:00 P.M. Monday
In lieu of flowers, donations to WHAS Crusade for Children, Mt. Carmel United Methodist Church Building Fund or Gideon Bibles would be appreciated and can be made at the funeral home.
