William Edward Davis, 83, of Russell Springs, KY passed away Monday, October 3, 2022 at his home. Born March 31, 1939 in Pulaski County, KY, he was the son of the late Emery and Nora Gosser Davis.
William worked as a machinist for 28 years at Tecumseh Products in Somerset. He was a member of Mt. Eden Baptist Church, and he enjoyed spending time hunting and fishing. William will be remembered for making knives and beautiful, handmade gun holsters, as well as being the best knife sharpener in the family.

10 grandchildren: Rachael (Rocky) Cremmens, Shelly (Matt) Dyer, and Leslie (Glenn) Blevins all of Somerset, KY; Krystal Popplewell, Hannah Davis, Isaac (Taylor) Wilson, and Emily Keith all of Russell Springs, KY; Michael Popplewell of Frankfort, KY; Alexzandra Davis of Columbia, KY; and Khristen (Dustin) Morgan of Waynesburg, KY

His beloved companion: "Patches" (his dog)
In addition to his parents, William was preceded in death by 2 sisters: Wilma Eades and Peggy Antle.

Burial: Cedar Springs Cemetery
Visitation: Saturday, October 8, 2022 from 5:00pm-7:00pmCT and Sunday after 8:00amCT at the funeral home
