Gay Alexander, 64, of Columbia, KY died Monday, October 10, 2022 at the T.J. Samson Community Hospital in Glasgow, KY. She was born in Adair County, KY on April 20, 1958 to the late Roy Eugene and Sarah Lucille Burbridge Morrison. 

Gay was a member of the Grace Independent Baptist Church and enjoyed cooking, shopping, and spending time with her family and friends.

2 children: Connie Chisenhall (Kent) and Matthew Alexander both of Campbellsville, KY

4 grandchildren: Jonathan, Christopher, Breanna and Anthony Dickson

4 great-grandchildren: LaShay Dickson, Cameron Foster, Lexus Dickson and Braxton Dickson

5 siblings: Coy Morrison (Nancy) of Russell Springs, KY, Janice Morrison of Columbia, KY, Roy Wayne Morrison (Peggy) of Homer Glen, IL, Donetta Hernandez (Tony) of Brookfield, IL and Ray Morrison of Columbia, KY

Several nieces & nephews

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a great-granddaughter, Lily Dickson and 2 sisters: Margaret Branigan and Phyllis Dickens.

Funeral Service: Friday, October 14, 2022 at 3:00pmCT at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home with Bro. Caleb Shirley officiating. Cremation will follow the service.
