Marion “Snowbird” Murphy, 79, of Columbia, KY passed away Saturday, October 22, 2022 at his residence with his family by his side. He was born on June 19, 1943 in Cumberland County, KY to the late Ruben and Aileen Baker Murphy.
Mr. Murphy was a member of the Old Concord Community Church and enjoyed fishing, being outdoors and spending time with family and friends.

Several nieces, nephews, cousins and other friends & relatives
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers: Tommy and Mickey Murphy.
Funeral service: Wednesday, October 26, 2022 at 11:00amCT at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home
Burial: Freedom Cemetery
Visitation: Tuesday from 4:00-8:00pmCT and Wednesday morning until time for the service
Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Bro. Pat Smith will be officiating, and pallbearers will be Jeff Kimbler, Troy Kimbler, Ben Kimbler, David Adams, Allen Kimbler, Josh Burton, Preston Edwards, Gavin Brockman, Damon Honaker, and Trayton Stargel.
