Debra Lynn “Debbie” Shearer, 63, of Russell Springs, KY passed away on Wednesday, November 16, 2022 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital in Somerset. She was born December 2, 1958 in Louisville, KY, daughter of the late Albert and Ethel Mae Sharp Shepherd.
She worked for several years at Fair Oak Nursing and Rehabilitation in Jamestown. Debbie stayed busy working all the time, as long as her health allowed. In later years, every chance of a day off, Debbie would take her family out to eat. She loved being with her kids and grandkids.

2 sons: Billy Wayne (Leann) Shearer, Jr. and Casey (Jessica) Shearer, both of Russell Springs
1 daughter: Angel Shearer of Russell Springs
1 sister: Linda (Kenny) Shepherd of Shepherdsville
12 grandchildren: Dakota Shearer, Erica Shearer, Taylor Shearer, Gage Shearer, Candias Little, Joseph Jennings, Jr., Deziree Shearer, Kellie Hawkins, Brandon Upton, Jazzlynn Upton, Katelynn Upton and Isabelle Upton
2 nieces: Mona Miller and Rhonda Mattingly
2 nephews: Glen (Debbie) Miller and Dean Shepherd
Along with her parents, Debbie was preceded in death by her brother, Ray Shepherd; her sisters: Shirley Thomas and Carol Sullivan; and her nephews: Steve Miller, Chuck Terry and Larry Terry.
Funeral Service: Friday, November 18, 2022 at 2:00pmCT at Bernard Funeral Home with Bro. Larry Johnson and Bro. Caleb Shirley officiating
Burial: Bullitt Lick Cemetery in Shepherdsville, KY at a later date
