Dallas Green Owens, 88, of Russell Springs, KY passed away on Wednesday, December 14, 2022 at The Medical Center at Bowling Green. Born on September 3, 1934 in Russell Springs, he was a son of the late Milford and Lucy Cook Owens.
Dallas had a passion for farming, and it was seen throughout his life’s work, whether in the field or tinkering with his tractors. Known to never meet a stranger, he loved wrestling, NASCAR, NFL football and western movies. He enjoyed golfing and traveling with his grandson as he dj’ed music. Dallas also loved his dog, Kane.

In addition to his parents, Dallas was preceded in death by his wife, Irene Fern Coffey Owens on March 29, 2013; one son, Alan Owens; one daughter, Mary Martha Owens Noel; one stepson, William Coffey; 2 brothers: Elvis Owens and Kenneth Owens; 3 sisters: Frances Shepherd, Flonnie Short, and Flossie Knight; and one granddaughter, Destiny Turner.

Burial: Owens Family Cemetery on Damron Creek Road
Visitation: After 10:00amCT on Monday at Bernard Funeral Home.
