Francis Curtis “Curt” Wethington, 75, of Russell Springs, KY passed away Thursday, January 26, 2023 at Liberty Care Center in Liberty, KY. He was born July 9, 1947 in Lebanon, KY, a son of the late Joseph Cecil and Rose Bernice Wethington.
Curt was proud to be a United States Army Veteran who turned 18 years old while serving his country in Vietnam. He worked over 25 years for and retired from Caldwell Tanks. Curt's family came first. He was best known as “Pa” and loved his grandchildren very much.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Wanda Mae Wethington, who passed away January 2, 2023; a brother, Adrian “Tater” Wethington; and three sisters: Nina Underwood, Mary Claire Wethington and Paulita Cooper.

1 son: Daryl (Beverly) Watts of Russell Springs
3 brothers: David “Frog” (Marlene) Wethington, Dale Wethington, and Tom (Brenda) Wethington
3 sisters: Matilda Sapp, Lois (Jim) MacLaren, and Faye (Jody) Clemens
3 granddaughters: Hannah (Jesse) York and Dana Watts

Funeral Service: Sunday, January 29, 2023 at 1:00pmCT at Bernard Funeral Home with Bro. Jim Robertson officiating
Interment: Russell Springs City Cemetery with military honors conducted by the Casey County Honor Guard.
Visitation: Saturday January 28, 2023 from 3:00pm-6:00pmCT at Bernard Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Casey County Honor Guard.
