Elnora Burton, 88 of Edinburgh, Indiana passed away on Tuesday, January 31, 2023 at Franciscan Health Indianapolis, Indiana. She was born May 9, 1934 in Adair County, KY, the daughter of the late Moss and Lena (Burton) Burton, Sr.
Elnora attended Who-So-Ever-Will Community Church and Calvary Christian Church, both in Edinburgh. She had worked at David R. Webb Company in Edinburgh and Johnson Memorial Hospital in Franklin. She enjoyed shopping, quilting, and yard sales.
She married Arnold Burton on August 6, 1952 and he preceded her in death on February 2, 2010.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by a son, Mark D. Burton; 4 grandchildren; 2 brothers: Moss Burton, Jr and Luther Burton; and 7 sisters: Alma Hood, Cecil Knight, Elzada Badger, Annie Burton, Zannie Estes, Beatrice Badger, and Naomi Weber.

3 sons: Maxie Burton of Peoga, Indiana, Galen (Susie) Burton of Franklin, Indiana, and William A. “W.A.” (Shelley) Burton of Edinburgh, Indiana
3 daughters: Cathy A. (Jimmy) Weathers of Franklin, Indiana, Marilyn (Randy) Carter of Stinesville, Indiana, and Marianne (Dan) Phillips of Edinburgh, Indiana
21 grandchildren, several great and great-great grandchildren
Funeral Service: Saturday, February 4, 2023 at 2:00pmET at Who-So-Ever-Will Community Church in Edinburgh, Indiana with Reverend Randy Denton officiating
Visitation: After 11:00amET on Saturday at the church
Burial: Rest Haven Cemetery in Edinburgh
