BENJAMIN SAMUEL CURRY, 82, SHEPHERDSVILLE, KY (ADAIR COUNTY NATIVE)

 

Benjamin Samuel Curry, 82 of Shepherdsville, KY passed away on Sunday, February 5, 2023 at Norton Audubon Hospital. He was a native of Adair County, KY, a son of the late Ausie “Rattler” and Ida Sinclair Curry.


Benjamin was a Baptist by faith and a member of Cedar Grove Baptist Church. He was a member of Shivley Masonic Lodge #951. Benjamin was also an avid University of Kentucky fan and loved deer hunting and deep-sea fishing.

 

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by three sons: Gregory, Brian and Gerald Curry and three siblings: Thelbert Curry, Gwen Curry and Nona Bess Bennett.


SURVIVORS:

His loving wife of 61 years: Imogene Curry

4 siblings: Doris Radford, Maggie Janes, Nell Curry and Clifton Curry

9 grandchildren: Josh, Taylor, Jacob, Noah, Benjamin, Gavin, Hunter, Dalton and Lexi

6 great-grandchildren: Michael, Emilie, Mason, Graydon, Paislee and Colton

His beloved dog: Tex “The Boss


Funeral Service: Thursday, February 9, 2023 at 1:00pmET at Maraman-Billings Funeral Home in Shepherdsville, KY

 

Burial: Cedar Grove Cemetery


Visitation: Wednesday from 10:00am-8:00pmET and Thursday after 9:00amET at Maraman-Billings Funeral Home
