KENNETH MARTIN ADAMSON, 67, COLUMBIA, KY

 

Kenneth Martin Adamson, 67, of Columbia, KY passed away Friday, February 10, 2023 at the University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington, KY. He was born in Columbia, KY on August 17, 1955 to the late Eva Ellen Knight and Walter Beckham Adamson, Jr.

 

Kenneth was of the Christian faith and accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior in 1980. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and U.S. Air Force. Kenneth enjoyed traveling, fishing and spending time with his family and friends.

 

SURVIVORS:

1 son: Eric Adamson of Somerset, KY

2 brothers: Jerry Adamson (Denise) and Ricky Adamson (Tammy) both of Columbia, KY

Sister-in-law: Jackie Carter Adamson of Russell Springs, KY

Brother-in-law: Bo Carter of Burnside, KY

Several nieces and nephews

 

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Sheila Carter and a brother, Walter “Waldo” Adamson.

 

Graveside Service: Monday, February 13, 2023 at 2:00pmCT at the New Concord Cemetery with Bro. Robert Knight officiating with military honors provided by VFW Post 6097

 

Visitation: Monday from 10:00am-1:30pm at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home

 

Pallbearers: Bobby Sullivan, James Adamson, Bradley Adamson, Jeremy Carter, Gary Moss, and Brian Harvey.

 

Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
