Barbara Obeginski, 81, of Russell Springs, KY passed away Friday, February 10, 2023 at the Metcalfe Health Care Center. She was born July 27, 1941 in Bradford, Arkansas, the daughter of the late Noah Morgan and Ivoy Clark Morgan.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Obeginski.
Barbara and Charles retired to Russell County in 1994. After several years vacationing in the Lake Cumberland area, they decided to move here and build their house, designed by Charles, and begin their dream of a quiet country retirement. Barbara was an avid reader and sewer. She worked in accounting and was a longtime associate at Walmart.

1 daughter: Kelly Obeginski of Colorado Springs, CO
2 sons: Jeffrey Obeginski of Tampa FL and Scott Obeginski (Heriana) of Houston, TX
3 grandchildren: Scott, Jr. "Mitch", Larissa, and Natalia
3 siblings: Faith, Pat and Peggy
Graveside Service: Monday, February 13, 2023 at 10:00amCT at the Square Oak Cemetery in Russell Springs
There will be no visitation.
