Barbara Fern Hopper Jackson, 84, of Russell Springs, KY went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Saturday, April 1, 2023. She was born December 1, 1938 at the “old homeplace”, a daughter of the late Eld. Selby and Eva Hart Hopper, and the eldest of three children.
Barbara was a familiar face to many people, having worked for years in retail at Ben Franklin, Shoe Show, Dutton’s Shoes, and most recently, Kmart. She was a faithful member of Salem United Baptist Church. Barbara enjoyed sewing and making quilts. She also loved gardening and tending to her flowers. She was proud to have been a member of the Sunset Homemaker Club for more than 50 years. She will be sadly missed by her family, church family, and many friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert “Bob” Jackson, who passed away December 13, 2005 and a brother, R.B. Hopper.

Burial: Salem Cemetery
Visitation: 5:00-8:00pmCT on Tuesday, April 4, 2023 and from 8:00amCT on Wednesday morning until time of services, at the funeral home
Pallbearers: Paul Barger, Nathan Roy, Andy Robertson, Preston Richardson, Clifford Severt, and Thomas Severt
