Glenn Francis LaFond, 79, of Columbia, KY went to be with the Lord on Saturday, May 6, 2023,
For the past 20 years, Glenn served as a pastor in various churches around Kentucky. He will be remembered for his joyful personality, his eagerness to serve others, and for the lengthy closing of each of his sermons. He was happiest when he was helping others, whether visiting residents in the nursing home, leading church activities, or welcoming people into his home. The effects of his commitment to his churches, his communities, his neighbors, and his friends will be felt for generations to come.

A host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, & nephews
He was preceded in death by his wife, Susanne (Jolley) LaFond; his mother, Doris (Mel) Duensing; his father Glenn LaFond; and two brothers: Wray LaFond and Leslie LaFond.
Funeral service: Wednesday, May 10, 2023 at 11:00amCT at the Bearwallow Methodist Church, 6090 Liberty Road, Columbia, KY with Chaplain Caleb LaFond officiating
Interment: Bearwallow Cemetery
Visitation: Tuesday, May 9, 2023 from 4pm-8pmCT at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home, 210 Greensburg Street, Columbia, KY and Wednesday, May 10, 2023 at 9:30amCT until service time at Bearwallow United Methodist Church
