Billy Lee Harmon, 83, of Columbia, KY passed away Monday, August 7, 2023 at T.J. Samson Community Hospital in Glasgow, KY. He was born on September 24, 1939 in Adair County, KY to the late Lizzie Harmon Burton.
He was also preceded in death by his wife, Edith Harvey Harmon.
Billy attended Hadley’s Community Church for many years and enjoyed raising tobacco, farming, gardening, and most of all growing watermelons to give to his neighbors. He was well known in the Glensfork community and enjoyed going to the local country store in Glensfork, also known as Hardscratch.

Graveside Service: Thursday, August 10, 2023 at 11:00amCT at the McClister Cemetery with Bro. Elbert Hadley officiating. There will be a brief viewing at the cemetery before the service.
Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
