Bruce Lynn Kelsey, 80, of Eli, KY passed away in Conway, South Carolina on Thursday, November 2, 2023 at his residence. He was born on February 11, 1943 in Font Hill, KY, a son of the late Marlus "Boots" Kelsey and Edith Tucker Kelsey
Mr. Kelsey was of the Baptist Faith. He retired from CSX Railroad where he was a superintendent, and was a Veteran of the United States Navy. He was a great man, husband, father and grandfather and was loved by all who knew him. He was mentioned as having a PhD in railroading by his peers and he enjoyed fishing and hunting.

11 grandchildren & 7 great-grandchildren

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Melissa Ann Kelsey and a sister, Deena Blair.
Funeral Service: Wednesday, November 8, 2023 at 2:00pmCT at Wilson Funeral Home, 391 East Steve Wariner Drive, Russell Springs, KY with Bro. Richie Curtis officiating
Interment: Pine Grove Separate Baptist Church Cemetery in Russell Springs with military honors conducted by the Russell County Honor Guard.
Visitation: After 11:00amCT on Wednesday at Wilson Funeral Home
