Mary Lou Roy, 69, of Russell Springs, KY passed away on Sunday, December 10, 2023 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital in Somerset. She was born on August 5, 1954 in Russell County, a daughter of the late Alice Bray Wilson.
Mary was retired from Russell Sportswear, and enjoyed farming with her husband, Junior. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Mary liked watching Little House on the Prairie and shopping at thrift stores.

5 grandchildren: Brandon (Maddie) Roy, Zachary Roy, Austin Roy, Katlyn (Jordan) Ford, and Eli Roy
4 great-grandchildren: Ethan Ford, Jackson Ford, Grayson Ford, Cannon McCormack
4 brothers: Estil (Marlene) Wilson of Indiana, Cyrus Wilson, Eugene (Nancy) Wilson, and Jimmy Wilson all of Russell Springs
4 sisters: Ava (Lee) Johnson, Doris (William) Hadley, and Dorothy (James) Miller all of Russell Springs and Laurie Roy of Columbia
In addition to her mother, Mary was preceded in death by a sister, Eva Ray Lay.
Funeral Service: Wednesday, December 13, 2023 at 1:00pmCT at Bernard Funeral Home with her son, Bro. Gary Roy and Bro. Bobby Withers officiating
Burial: Wilkerson Cemetery
Visitation: Tuesday, December 12, 2023 from 5:00pm-8:00pmCT and Wednesday from 7:30amCT until time of service
Pallbearers: Zachary Roy, Brandon Roy, Austin Roy, Eli Roy, Jordan Ford, and Jared Harrell
