Joyce Lee Ettner, 70, Jamestown, KY

Joyce Lee Ettner, 70, of Jamestown, KY passed away Saturday, January 6, 2024 at the Jean Waddle Care Center in Somerset. She was born February 11, 1953 in Fort Campbell, KY, a daughter of the late Herbert Lee and Pauline Coffey Womack.

Joyce was a member of Pleasant Hill Community Church. She lived with God as her guide, her rock, the center focus of her life. Joyce knew the importance of love and trusting in the Lord, and she shared her thoughts with her family in letters that she wrote to them.

“God has given me a lot in my lifetime but the best thing He blessed me with was a heart full of love.”

“God knows exactly what He is doing – He lets us go through rough times – but it sure makes us enjoy and treasure the good times.”

“Please always love one another and stay close.  It is so very important.”

And maybe her most important instruction of all……” Trust in the Lord. I do.”

Joyce leaves behind many wonderful memories and a beautiful legacy of love for her family and friends to treasure.
