Nova Ann Wright Johnson, 82, of Russell Springs, KY passed away Saturday, January 13, 2024 at Fair Oaks Health and Rehabilitation in Jamestown, KY. She was born April 28, 1941 in the Rowena community of Russell County, the daughter of the late Warren Andy Wright & Nova Myrtle Brown Wright.
She was a loving mother and grandmother and was well known throughout her community as a hardworking Christian lady. Throughout her life she had a variety of jobs, her last before retirement was working in the dietary department at Fair Oaks Nursing Home. She enjoyed gardening, tending to her flowerbeds, farming, quilting, and working puzzles. Nova was a long-time member of Pine Grove Separate Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Arlo Johnson; two sons: Lonnie & Ricky Johnson; one daughter, Peggy Stratton; three brothers: Virgil, Tracy, & Terry Wright; and one sister, Auda Mae Tucker.

3 sons: Ronald (Deidra) Johnson, Dallas (Jean) Johnson, and Marvin (Ann) Johnson of Russell Springs
2 daughters: Betty (Steve) McBeath and Sandra (Cliff) Honaker of Russell Springs
Daughterin-law: Megan Johnson of Russell Springs
1 son-in-law: Timothy Stratton of Lawrenceburg, KY
12 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, 3 step-great grandchildren & 1 great-great grandchild
