Elizabeth Dickerson Sanders, 87, of Columbia, KY, daughter of the late Robert Lee and Verlie Stearns Dickerson, was born on June 27, 1936 in Albany, KY and departed this life on Monday, March 11, 2024 at her residence.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Samuel T. Sanders, on April 17, 2014.
Mrs. Sanders was a retired school teacher, having taught for nearly 33 years in Kentucky and Ohio.

1 son: Christopher Sanders of Columbia, KY
1 daughter: Lisa Ann (& Doug) Cantrell of Elizabethtown, KY
1 brother: James (& Mary) Dickerson of Paris, KY
1 sister: Virginia Burke of Florida
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by two brothers: John Q. Dickerson and Cordell F. Dickerson; and three sisters: Frances D. Vincent, Iva Lee Summers and Lena Mae Copeland.
All services will be conducted privately under the direction of Gupton-Landrum Funeral Home in Greensburg
Graveside Service: Thursday, March 14, 2024 at 3:00pmCT at Haven Hill Cemetery in Columbia
There will be no public visitation.
