Michael Edward Foley, 70, of Russell Springs, KY passed away on Sunday, April 14, 2024 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital in Somerset, KY after a short illness. He was born in Russell Springs on March 17, 1954, a son of the late Marvin and Louise Foley.
Michael married Barbara Sue Anderson on January 1, 1989 and she preceded him in death on December 13, 2023. Michael & Barbara shared many years of marriage; they loved to watch UK sports and live life together. He was a long-time farmer and construction worker.
In addition to his parents and wife, he was also preceded in death by three siblings: Helen Foley, Edwin Foley, and Bruce Foley; and by one grandchild, Warren Chase Blakey.

7 grandchildren: Jacob Adams (Sarah) of Limerick, Ireland, Logan Adams of Louisville, KY, Shelby Blakey of Summerville, Massachusetts, Johnathon Blakey of San Diego, California, Colbie Keller of Fallon, NV, Holly Massengill (Brandon) and Katelyn Braden (James) of Russell Springs, KY
7 great-grandchildren: Madelyn, Mason, Brantley, Olivia, Anna, Hensley and Zora
Aunt: Shirley Alice Richard of Milledgeville, GA
2 sisters-in-law: Lavon Anderson of Jamestown, KY and Ruth Foley of Hubert, North Carolina

Burial: Bethlehem Church Cemetery in Russell Springs, KY
Visitation: After 5:00pmCT on Thursday, April 18, 2024 and Friday morning until time of funeral service at the funeral home
The family requests donations be made to Hayes Chapel Church or to the Bethlehem Baptist Church Cemetery Fund and can be made at the funeral home.
