Carl Eugene Burton, 63, of Columbia, KY passed away Thursday, June 13, 2024 at his home. He was born on May 9, 1961 in Columbia, KY to the late James Harlin and Jewell Edna Harmon Burton.
Mr. Burton was a member Bloomington Chapel Brethren in Christ Church. He enjoyed being outdoors, fishing, racing, hunting, and spending time with his family and friends.

3 children: Rebecca Bright (Gerald) of Campbellsville, KY; Carolyn Burton (Chase Firkins) of Columbia, KY; and Jacob Burton (Stefanie) of Campbellsville, KY
9 grandchildren: Sarah-Ann Bright (Dalton), Trevor Bright, Noah Bright, Gracie Burton, Madison Harris, Anna Gene Harris, LillyAna Burton, Harper Burton and Preston Burton
5 siblings: Elizabeth Burton, Carolyn Jean Burton, Woodrow Burton, and Dorinda Streeval (Jeff) all of Columbia, KY, and Davis Lee Burton (Rita) of Gary, Indiana

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Andrew Burton and a sister, Dorkis Burton.
