Brenda Sue Underwood, 73, of Elk Horn, KY, the daughter of Ruby Graybeal Hixson and the late Ronald Hixon, was born on August 13, 1950 in Cincinnati, OH and departed this life Thursday, June 27, 2024 at her residence.
Brenda professed faith in Christ at an early age and was a devoted housewife. She enjoyed spending time with her family and loved decorating homes and weddings. She was a former employee of J.C. Penney.

Her mother: Ruby Graybeal Hixson
Son-in-law: Shawn Murray of Greensburg
4 grandchildren: Dylan Conn, Dawson Conn, Dax Conn, and Casen Murray
Besides her father, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Cathy Murray and one grandson, Dane Conn.
Funeral Service: Saturday, June 29, 2024 at 1:00pmET at L.R. Petty Funeral Home Chapel in Campbellsville, KY with Bro. Randall Underwood officiating
Burial: Brookside Cemetery
Visitation: After 11:00amET on Saturday until the time of the service.
Memorials are suggested to be in the form of donations to Hosparus of Green River.
