Ronald Lee Powell, 75, of Russell Springs, KY passed away Tuesday, July 2, 2024 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital in Somerset, KY.  He was born December 2, 1948 in Adair County, a son of the late William and Mabel McElroy Powell. 

Ronald was a former dispatcher for Kentucky State Police Post #15. He spent many years as the primary caregiver to his mother before she passed away. Ronald enjoyed collecting sport memorabilia, buying old cars to fix up, and just hanging out with his friends.

1 son: Chris Powell of Russell Springs

3 brothers: Billy Powell of Austin, Texas, Roger (Kristie) Powell of Alabama, and Mitchell Powell of Atlanta, Georgia

1 sister: Belinda Moore of Phoenix, Arizona

Funeral Service: Tuesday, July 9, 2024 at 11:00amCT at Bernard Funeral Home

Burial: Ridge Crest Cemetery

Visitation: After 9:00 amCT on Tuesday
