Maggie Janes, 80, of Columbia, KY died Saturday, July 20, 2024 at Jewish Hospital in Louisville, KY. She was born March 19, 1944 in Adair County to the late Aussie “Rattler” and Ida Willis Curry.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lewis Janes on Dec.23, 1994; her daughter, Leshia Fair on July 10, 2023; a grandson, Jeremy Norris; three brothers: Thelbert, Gwen and Ben Curry; and two sisters: Darcie Radford and Nona Bess Bennett.
Maggie was a member of Pollard’s Chapel Church, formerly worked at Fruit of the Loom, and was an In-Home Caregiver.

1 brother: Clifton Curry (Phyllis) of Columbia
1 sister: Nell Curry of Columbia

Funeral Service: Wednesday, July 24, 2024 at 1:00 P.M. at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home with Bro. Jacob Davis and Bro. Victor Matney officiating
Burial: Union Cemetery
Visitation: After 4:00 Tuesday
In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate a donation to the Union Cemetery, which can be left at the funeral home.
