Shirley Ann Gilpin, 85, of Columbia, KY passed away Friday, July 26, 2024 at T.J. Health Columbia. She was born in Louisville, KY on October 7, 1938 to the late Charlie and Louella Coomer Corbin.
Mrs. Gilpin was a member of the Trinity Church and enjoyed gospel music, singing, playing the piano and spending time with her family and friends, especially her grandchildren.

3 daughters: Kim Turner (Mark), Teresa Giles (David), and Crystal Stapleton all of Columbia, KY
7 grandchildren: Erica Turner (Byron Rodgers), Lucas Turner (Shawntae), Zackary Giles (Stacy), Shane Stapleton, Anika Jennings, Truk Jennings, and Amanda Giles
11 great-grandchildren: Addison, Kennedy, and Madelynn Giles, Bramlett and Livie Turner, Kylie Morris, Olivia Kays, Byron, Ryder, C.J. (Katherine) and Jenna Rodgers
1 sister: Elizabeth VanArsdale

She was preceded in death by the father of her children, Pete Gilpin and six siblings: Odell, Eurial, and Harlan Corbin, Lydia Matney, Beatrice Coffey, and Runa Willis.
Funeral Service: Tuesday, July 30, 2024 at 11:00amCT at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home with Bro. Steve Pescosolido and Bro. Bobby Withers officiating
Burial: Jones Chapel Cemetery
Visitation: Monday, July 29, 2024 from 4:00-8:00pmCT and Tuesday morning until time for the service at the funeral home
