Jeanette (“Jan”) Eastham Stocksdale, 89, of Urbana, Ohio passed away Friday, July 26, 2024 at the Jean Waddle Care Center in Somerset, KY. She was born in Esto, Kentucky on December 10, 1934, a daughter of the late Omri and Elise Eastham.

Jan was also a part-year resident of Jamestown, Kentucky where she enjoyed family, friends and Lake Cumberland. Her life revolved around her family, especially the grandchildren.

SURVIVORS:

3 children: Charles Edward "Chic" (Marge) Stocksdale, Jr. of Shawnee Hills; Gregory Foster "Greg" (Sherry) Stocksdale of Urbana; and Dorsey Lee "Skip" Stocksdale of Marengo, Illinois

9 grandchildren: Charlie III (Jennifer), Andrew (Madyson), Cynthia (Tom), Jeremiah, Karci (Chris), Alicia, Michael, Justin (Traci), Jessica (Josh)

14 great-grandchildren: Addie, Ezra, Maggie, Lilly, Chaz, Bentley, Payton, Brady, Brennan, Ally, Eastham, Jordon, Lee, & McKenzie

Special cousins: Sarah (J.P.) Stuart and Yvonne Eastham

2 goddaughters: Elizabeth (Gary) & their children Shelby and Ella, and Attye (Brandon) and their son, Grider

3 nieces: Cathy, Carol and Kim

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, C. Edward Stocksdale; a son, Todd Eastham Stocksdale; a brother, Donald Eastham; and a sister-in-law, Libby

Funeral Service: Tuesday, July 30, 2024 at 6:00pmCT at H.E. Pruitt Memory Chapel in Jamestown, KY with Bro. Barry Bradshaw officiating
 

Visitation: After 4:00pmCT on Tuesday at the funeral home 

Burial: Oak Dale Cemetery in Urbana, Ohio
