Stephen Lee Thomas, 73, of Jamestown, KY passed away on Wednesday, July 31, 2024 at his home. He was born on August 11, 1950 in Somerset, a son of the late Delmas Lee and Wilma Blair Thomas.

Stephen was a retired Recreation Director for Lake Cumberland State Park and a member of Jamestown First Baptist Church. He enjoyed hunting and was a true outdoorsman. Stephen dearly loved his family and friends, and his dog, Riley.

2 children: Kyle Thomas and Tonya Bryant, both of Columbia

4 grandchildren: Jacob (Tiffany) Pierce of Jamestown, Christian Grider, Corey Thomas, and Natalie Thomas all of Columbia

2 great-grandchildren: Jaden Pierce & Emmy Jo Grider

1 brother: Stan (Tina) Thomas of Jamestown

2 sisters: Shelah (Danny) Johnson and Sondra (Chris) Powell, both of Russell Springs

Funeral Service: Saturday, August 3, 2024 at 11:00amCT at Bernard Funeral Home with Bro. Jon Tyler White officiating

Burial: Hale Cemetery

Visitation: After 9:00 A.M. on Saturday at the funeral home

Pallbearers: Corey Thomas, Christian Grider, Chris Powell, Mark Weston, Stuart Johnson, and Ed Von Gruenigen

Honorary Pallbearers: Danny Johnson, Jacob Pierce, Kerry Thomas, and his Sunday School class at Jamestown First Baptist Church
